Ailcia Pratt Stewart, age 73, of Natchitoches, LA., died Sunday, December 10, 2006, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, LA. "Sissy", as she was known, was a member of Clarence Baptist Church and was retired from the City of Natchitoches after 33 years of service. She was survived by her husband of 45 years, Gerald E. Stewart of Natchitoches, LA, three daughters, Elaine "Sandi" Strickland, husband James, Catherine Buckley Smith, husband Ronald, both of Natchitoches, LA, and Debra Buckley McLeod, husband Gene of Terrell, TX ; one son, Gerald E. "Ed" Stewart, Jr., wife Amy of Cotton Valley, LA; six grandchildren, Heath Goins, Rachel LaCaze Vick, husband Derek, Ronald Dale Smith, Jr., wife Jehnna, William Mathew McLeod, Kimberly Scott, and Brianne Stewart; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Bennett E. Pratt, wife Dorothy of Natchitoches, LA, and Donald R. Pratt, wife Hilda of Haughton, LA; one sister-in-law, Norma P. Pratt of Decatur, IL; and a host of other friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by parents Charles J. Pratt and Carrie Mae (Ellis) Kowerske, brother, Charles J. “Sonny” Pratt, Jr., and granddaughter Jessica Daniece McLeod Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home at Natchitoches, LA, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, December 12, 2006. Funeral service will be at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM Wednesday, December 13, 2006 , with Rev. Lindle Stewart and Rev. Harry Bamburg officiating. Interment will be at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA.
