Joseph Washer

Joseph R Washer, 44, of Provencal, La., died Friday, December 22, 2006, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. Washer was employed by Waste Management for 10 years and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. He was the son of Clarence Washer and step-mother Eleanor Washer and mother Deloris (St Andry) Hayes. He is survived by his son, Joseph Washer, Jr. of Provencal, La.; daughter, Samantha Holland of Provencal, La.; sister, Freida Berry and husband Kevin of Natchitoches, La; two half-brothers, Kenny St Andry and Eddie Jack St Andry both of Winnfield, La; step-brother, Jimmy Walker of Hillsboro, Oh.; step-sister, Alice Banes and husband Wayne of Natchitoches, La.; and special friend, Lisa Brooks of Okolona, Ms. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the New Salem Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at the New Salem Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 28, 2006 with Rev. Roger Matkin and Rev Terry Taylor officiating.
