Gloria Howell

Gloria Howell, 77, of Crews, LA, died Monday, December 25, 2006, at her home in Crews. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church most of her life. She was a loving mother who participated in many events with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed visiting the residents of the area nursing homes. She will be dearly missed by all who were a part of her life. She is survived by her son, Hugh Don Howell of Natchitoches; two daughters, Sharon Howell of Clinton, MS, and Deborah Howell Minton and husband Lanny of Baton Rouge, LA; three grandchildren, John Howell of Natchitoches, LA, Kurt Pinder of St. Maurice, LA, and Jeff McAlpin of Natchitoches, LA; and six great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Gloria will be from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the Blanchard St. Denis funeral home and one hour before service time Thursday at the New Salem Baptist church. Funeral services will be at New Salem Baptist Church at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 28, 2006 , with Rev. Kevin Collier and Rev. Terry Taylor officiating.
