John H. McGee

Funeral service for John H. McGee will be held 2 PM Friday, February 2, 2007 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Craig Beeman officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery at Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Thursday, February 1, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Friday, February 2, 2007 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. McGee, 91, of Natchitoches, La., died Wednesday, January 31, 2007, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Alexandria, La. He is a native of Middle Creek, La. He was owner operator of John's Glass Shop. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Marines. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry McGee and Ellen Herrington McGee. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley Britt McGee of Natchitoches, La.; one daughter, Anita Ann McGee of Keller, Tx.; three sons, James Gary McGee of Florien, La., John Rickey McGee of Natchitoches, La., and Jerry Wayne McGee of Natchitoches, La.; grandchildren, Chad McGee, Emily McGee, Courtney Carter, Aaron Carter, Willena McCallister, Miranda Rachall, Brandi McGee, and John Austin McGee; six great-grandchildren.
