Funeral service for Delores Ann Broadway Ivy will be held 3 PM Sunday, February 4, 2007 in Rocky Mount Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Douglas Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Mount Cemetery at Robeline, La. under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitohces, La. Visitation will be Saturday, February 3, 2007 from 11 AM until service time Sunday, February 4, 2007 in the church.
Mrs. Ivy, 59, of Robeline, La., died Friday, February 2, 2007, at Louisiana Extended Health Care in Natchitoches, La.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Robeline, La. She was a bookkeeper for the family timber harvesting business. She was a member of Rocky Mount Congregational Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Alice Taylor; one brother, Julius Wade Broadway; parents, Peter Calvin Broadway, Sr. and Mertie Sims Broadway.
She is survived by her husband T. J. Ivy, Jr. of Robeline, La. ; one daughter, Janice Ann Ivy and partner Tommy Daniels of Robeline, La.;
one son, Clay Ivy and wife Laura of Robeline, La.; one grandson, Bubba Ivy and wife Kindsey of Robeline, La.; two step grandchildren, William Sims and Jason Sims; three great-grandchildren, Daishya, Cameron, and Lulu; five sisters, Frances Faye Powell , Linda Cobb, Barbara Nell Jordan, Lorene Oxley all of Robeline, La., and Ima Marie DuBois of Montgomery, La.;
four brothers, James Broadway, Junior Broadway, Curtis Broadway all of Robeline, La., and Jerry Broadway of Natchitoches, La.
Pallbearers will be Terry Broadway, Ray Alford, Andrew Cobb, Dean Oxley, Dennis Broadway, Vickie DuBois, Lane Broadway, Marvin Wyatt.
Honorary pallbearer will be Charles 'Scooter' Cobb.
