Luther Guillory

Luther Leo Guillory, 79, of Goldonna, La., died Saturday, February 3, 2007, at his residence in Goldonna, La. Mr. Guillory was employed by Placid Oil Company for 32 years. He served in the Air Force during World War II. He was an avid fisherman, loved to garden, enjoyed woodworking, was very fond of cooking and was a loving and devoted father and husband to his family. He will not be forgotten by those whose lives that he touched. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Guillory, and his parents Gillis Guillory and Bertie (Turner) Guillory. He is survived by his wife Jeanne Guillory; one daughter, Donna Jeanne Fletcher and husband Guy of Goldonna, LA, and one sister-in-law, Billie Fautheree and husband Jimmy of Goldonna, LA. Arrangements were handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home, where the family received friends from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM Monday, February 5, 2007. A graveside service was held at Memory Lawn Cemetery at 4:00 PM Monday, February 5, 2007 , where Rev. Charles Cloud officiated. Interment was at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, La.
