Ruth Lee Calhoun

Ruth Stroud Calhoun, 89, of Natchitoches, La., died Monday, February 12, 2007, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Natchitoches, La. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred T. Calhoun, Sr.; parents, Steven O. Stroud and Linnie Lee Stroud. She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Jones of Longview, Tx.; one son, Alfred T. Calhoun, Jr. and wife Theresa of Robeline, La.; three grandchildren, James Curtis Calhoun and wife Sherry, Bobby Wayne Calhoun, and John Paul Jones; two great grandchildren, Hannah Paige Calhoun and Jamee Elissa Calhoun; one sister, Billie Louise Stroud of Natchitoches, La. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches, La. Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
