L. E. 'Gene' Keran

Funeral service for L. E. 'Gene' Keran will be held 10 AM Monday, February 19, 2007 in Holy Cross Catholic Church with Rev. Jason officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery at Natchitoches, La. under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, February 18, 2007 from 6 PM until 9 PM with a rosary at 7 PM and Visitation on Monday, February 19, 2007 from 8 AM until 9:30 AM in the funeral home. Mr. Keran, 87, of Natchitoches, La., died Thursday, February 15, 2007, at Heritage Manor Rehabilitation and Retirement Center in Natchitoches, La. He was a native of Newman, Ill. He was a retired letter carrier for U. S. Post Office in Natchitoches, La. He was also retired Lt. Col. in Ul S. Air Force Reserves, he was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Air Corps. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He is a survived by his two sons, Gary Keran and wife Maria of Round Hill, Va. and Michael Keran and wife Gwen of Pensacola, Fl.; grandchildren, Amy Bennett and husband Lee, William Keran, David Keran, Ann Keran, and Elizabeth Keran; Great grandchildren, Cameron Bennett, Cassi Bennett, Aly Bennett, and Lani Bennett.
