Annie Lee Fuller, passed away on December 19, 2024, at the Rapides Medical Center in Alexandria, LA, leaving behind a legacy shaped by unwavering love, kindness, and compassion. She was born on October 29, 1927, in Montrose, Louisiana, to Wesley Elmer Smith and Laura Bennett Smith.
In her professional pursuits, Annie served the state at the county agents office, a testament to her commitment to public service. This devotion was further exemplified as she later worked at the family grocery store in Natchez, LA, until the passing of her husband, Randal, occurred in 1975.
Annie was known for her loving personality, a true caregiver and friend to many. She found immense joy in caring for her great grandchildren, frequently welcoming them into her home and nurturing them with warmth and love. Baking was one of her greatest passions, and her delectable creations were a source of delight for her family and friends alike. She was a devout Christian lady, whose faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ anchored her throughout her life. Her proudest accomplishments are etched not in grand accolades, but in the countless lives she touched with her gentle spirit and unwavering belief in the goodness of God.
Throughout her life, Annie was surrounded by a loving family. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Marilyn Fuller; her grandson, Mitchell Lee Bayonne, III; and seven adoring great grandchildren, who will carry forward the values of love and kindness that she instilled in them.
Annie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Randall Fuller, and her parents, Wesley Elmer Smith and Laura Bennett Smith. Also awaiting her in eternal rest are her siblings, Thelma Smith Dodd, Mary Smith Pigott, and Wesley Ellis Smith.
Services honoring Annie’s life will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. The visitation will commence at 9:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Annie will be laid to rest at Bay Springs Cemetery near Chopin, Louisiana.
Her legacy of love, diligence, and faith will forever be cherished in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
