Funeral services for James Benjamin (Benny) Nolley, Sr. age 77 of Natchitoches will be held at 10 am on March 21, 2020, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Rev. Blake Deshautelle officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. Visitation will be from 9 am until service time on the 21st at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Benny, as he was known to everyone, died March 18, 2020. He was a 1961 graduate of Natchitoches High School and attended Northwestern State University. He retired as owner and operator of Nolley Vending Co., Professional Janitorial Service, and Natchitoches Bottled Water Service. Benny was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Benjamin Nolley and Helen Blue Nolley; sons, James Benjamin (Benjy) Nolley, Jr. and Aaron Todd Nolley; and a sister, Linda Sue Nolley Marlowe. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Mary Margaret Ferguson Nolley; brothers, Gary Wayne Nolley and wife Miranda of Natchitoches, Kenneth Ray Nolley and wife Rochelle of Longview, TX, and brother in law, Ted Marlowe of Houston, TX; nephews, Wynce Nolley and Coy Nolley of Lafayette, LA, Jo Mack Nolley of Diana, TX, Kenneth Nolley, Jr. of Diana, TX, Jeffrey Marlowe of Austin, TX; niece, Amanda Nolley Brasher of Ore City, TX. Pallbearers will be Jerry Smith, Clark Averett, Coy Nolley, Wynce Nolley, Hester Leach, and Patrick Custis. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Natchitoches, Dr. Warren Botnick, Dr. John Hogg, and Dr. Manish Dhawan. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made to Hospice of Natchitoches, Oak Grove Methodist Cemetery or to a charity of your choice.
