Bridgette Camelia Roque

A Mass of Christian Burial for Bridgette Camelia Roque will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 15, 2021 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Isle Brevelle with Rev. Charlie Ray serving as celebrant. Entombment will follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9 am until 11 am on the 15th at St. Augustine Catholic Church. On January 07, 2021, Bridgette was called home from the Natchitoches Community Care Center in Natchitoches, LA. Bridgette was preceded in death by her stepfather, Joseph Llorance, Jr. and sister-in-law, Bonita Roque. Bridgette is survived by her brother Dan Roque, Jr. (Wynee), sister Angela Roque, and her father Dan Roque, Sr. (Annette). Michele Blade (James), Sheila Sampson (Albert), Sarah Roque, Aurelia Roque (Chris), Jodi Williams (Tolisha), John Paul Roque (Ashley), Jamaica Roque, one niece/godchild Jennifer Roque, and a host of nieces and nephews. Bridgette graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. She received her Bachelors degree in Psychology. She worked as a social worker in the mental health field. Bridgette enjoyed fishing and was a happy, beautiful person to be around. She will be sadly missed, especially her beautiful smile.
