Natchitoches

Bryan Robert Stamey, a life long resident of Natchitoches, passed away on September 20, 2024, leaving a legacy of kindness and joy for his family and many friends.

Bryan was born on April 4, 1988. He enjoyed sports from an early age in the local youth leagues and through playing football and baseball at St. Mary’s, as well as with the local American Legion teams. Bryan was the ultimate team player who valued his lifelong friendships with his teammates.

Bryan graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School which he attended from Pre-K through 12th grade; although Bryan excelled in academics, as well as football and baseball, he truly most treasured his relationships with his classmates and his entire St. Mary’s family who could always count on Bryan’s cheerfulness and support. After high school, Bryan attended and then graduated from Northwestern State University with honors. Bryan enjoyed student life at NSU, where he supported Northwestern's athletic teams and participated in intramural sports, and developed a love of golf.

Bryan worked at Stamey Law Firm during the last decade, and he previously was a real estate agent at Collins and Stamey Real Estate. He always served people with a friendly smile.

He was a life long Catholic and member of the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception.
