Carol Jean Bentley

Carol Jean Bentley, born on April 6, 1936, in Philadelphia, PA to Samuel and Dorothy Crate Killen, passed away on November 17, 2024 in Natchitoches, LA. A devoted homemaker, Carol dedicated her life to caring for her family and contributing to her community.

As a long-standing member of the First United Methodist Church in Natchitoches, Carol found joy and fulfillment in her faith and the relationships she forged within her church family. 

Carol is survived by her sisters, Barbara Joan Stinger and husband Ray of Springfield, PA and Joyce Baird and husband Paul of Natchez, LA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who cherished her support and wisdom. In 2015 her husband, R.E. Bentley passed away and her beloved cat, Scarlet, was a constant source of comfort for Carol during a difficult time.
