Charles was born on February 21, 1950, in Bellwood, LA to Kenneth Audie and Ethel Irene Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Irene Jones and a brother, Gerald Jones. Left to honor his life are his wife of 45 years, Carolyn Jones; a daughter, Charlene Womack and husband Chris of Provencal; two sons, Charles “Bubba” Jones, Jr. and wife Amanda of Many and Daniel Jones and wife Katie of Provencal; 8 grandchildren, Trey, Noah, Autumn, Audie Ann, Collin, Mallory, Cooper, and Cohen; and 2 sisters, Ann Toms of Saline and Shirley Marlar of Corinth, MS. Charles was a family man. He would travel any length to watch his kids and grandkids play sports or just to be a part of whatever activity they had going on. Charles was a hard worker and a great provider but most importantly was a Christian man. Charles had a profound knowledge of the scriptures and lived out the wisdom he gained from reading his bible. Although he enjoyed the simple things in life, he leaves behind a legacy that is far more valuable than anything this world can offer. Although his passing will leave an empty place in our hearts, we know one day we will be reunited with him in heaven. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the NRMC-ICU for their great care of Charles during his illness.
