Charles Troy Maggio

Troy Maggio passed away on January 31, 2025, in Natchitoches. He was born on July 2, 1962, in Natchitoches to Andrew and Patricia Maggio, his parents preceded him in death.

Troy dedicated many years to working alongside his parents in the Maggio family produce distributorship.  A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Troy completed his service with the Reserves and the National Guard.  Troy was known for his warm personality and vibrant spirit. He had a big smile and an innate ability to connect with others, making it seem as if he never met a stranger. Friends and family will fondly remember his love for the outdoors, particularly his cherished time spent in Kisatchie National Park. Hunting, fishing, and camping were among his greatest joys, and he loved sharing these experiences with his family and friends.

He is survived by his siblings, Greg Maggio, Ralph Maggio (Cynthia), Kim Conly (John), and Drew Maggio (Kelli). Troy also leaves behind a host of loving nieces and nephews: Stacie Bruce, Emily Roche, Scott Conly, Madisyn Maggio, Cayden Maggio, Lucy Barbo and Lory Barbo as well as many close cousins, who will carry forward his legacy.

A memorial visitation is scheduled for February 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home, located at 848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457.  Donations may be made in Troy's name to a charity of your choice.

Troy Maggio will be remembered for his kindness, joyful spirit, and unyielding commitment to both his family and friends. His memory will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those he touched.
