Charlotte Sue Cardozier Moore

December 23, 1941 — May 28, 2024

Montgomery, LA

In loving memory of Charlotte Sue Cardozier Moore, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Charlotte was born on December 23, 1941, in Montgomery, Louisiana, to her loving parents James Cardozier and Corina Myers Cardozier. She peacefully passed away on May 28, 2024 in her hometown of Montgomery, Louisiana, surrounded by her adoring family.

Charlotte will always be remembered for her exceptional cooking skills; she delighted many with her delicious dishes during her younger years before gracefully retiring from those duties after her children left home. Known for her warmth and nurturing nature, Charlotte found fulfillment as a stay-at-home mom, dedicated to caring for and supporting her family through all of life's joys and challenges.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will forever resonate with those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Charlotte is survived by her daughter Kahnya Paddie (Greg) of Montgomery, son Jimmy Ray Moore (Kristie) of Clarence; step-daughter Teresa Sims (Billy); grandchildren Kole Paddie (Amanda), Kasey Paddie (Chloe) of which Kole and Kasey held a special place in her heart, Lance Moore (Kasie), Luke Moore, Logan Moore (Peyton), and Monica Edwards (Brandon); 10 great-grandchildren; her sister Gwen Hinds (Pat) and her sister-in-law Rita Cardozier.  In the hearts of Patricia Richard and Tammy Lambert, she found dear friends whose companionship brought joy to her days.

Charlotte was reunited in heaven with her husband Billy Ray Moore; her parents James and Corina Cardozier; and her brother Jimmy Cardozier

In the tapestry of life that Charlotte Moore wove throughout the years, she left behind threads of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will never fade. Her presence will be deeply missed but the light she brought into the lives of all who knew her will continue to shine brightly.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11 am on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Brad Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Montgomery, LA. The family will receive friends from 9 am until service time on the 30th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.
