Chasity Taylor Rachal, 28 years of age passed away on September 10, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and joy that touched the hearts of many. She was born on March 13th 1996, to Craig Rachal and Darlene Edwards in Pineville, Louisiana.
From an early age, Chasity displayed a vibrant passion for sports, excelling in both softball and basketball. Her dedication to these activities was exemplified not just in her talent, but in the enjoyment, she found while playing for the Cloutierville Bulldogs. Chasity was known for her upbeat demeanor, embodying a spirit that was both kind and happy, this was always seen by any friends, family, and those who knew her.
As we remember Chasity, we celebrate her love for life and the positive impact she had on those around her. Her laughter and smile will forever echo in the memories of all who knew and loved her. Chasity leaves a legacy through the joy she instilled in her two precious children and the wonderful moments throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert T. and Mable Rachal; grandpa, Jimmy Edwards; brother, Dustin Edwards, uncles, Don Miller and Dwight Rachal, and aunt, Theresa Edwards.
She is survived by her two beautiful children, Nevaeh and Daniel “Bubba” Rister, her father, Craig Rachal of Cloutierville; mother, Darlene Edwards of Gorum; grandma, Shirley Edwards of Gorum; brother, Bobby Rachal of Dry Prong; sister, Courtney Rachal of Cloutierville; brother, Corey Rachal and his wife Raven of Marco; and nieces, Avery Edwards, Brooke and Adaline Rachal. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was truly loved and will forever hold a special place in everyone’s hearts.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 pm on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Holy Family Chapel - Monette Ferry located at 17389 Highway 1, Marco, LA 71447. Burial will follow at Rachal Cemetery in Marco, LA. The family will receive friends from 9 am until 12:30 pm on Friday at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Corey Rachal, Kirk Rachal, Sean Rachal, Seth Puckett, Devin Deramus, Eddie Deramus, Curtis Brossett, and Chris Edwards. Honorary pallbearer will be Casey Rachal.
