Cynthia Gayle Troquille was born to James William Troquille and Jocelyn Adkins Troquille St. Andry on November 25, 1954 and passed from this earthly life on Sunday, February 12, 2023. She is preceded in death by her father, James Troquille; dad, L.C. St. Andry, Sr.; mother, Jocelyn Trouquille St. Andry; ex-husband, Clifford Ray Moss; sister, Aselyn St. Andry Culver; brother, John Clinton Trouquille; and her father-in-law, Tracy Lucky, Sr. and mother-in-law, Edith Lucky. She is survived by her beloved husband, Tracy Lucky, Jr., of Natchitoches; her children: son, Kevin Moss and wife, Scotia, of Natchitoches; daughter, Kamala Moss, of Natchitoches, daughter, Karen Moss and wife, Gayle Kees, of Baton Rouge; her grandchildren: Coleman Welch, Keith Moss, Keenan Moss, and Keelan Moss; her great-grandchildren: Riley Moss, Carter Moss, Tesla Naomi Rose Welch, and Kylo Rayden Moss; her siblings: sister, Shanda Florane and husband, Ernie, of Coushatta; sister Viviane Brown and husband, Ronald; brother, Glen St. Andre and wife, Debra; and sister, Tammy Raynes and husband, Brad. Cynthia Gayle married Tracy Lucky, Jr. on November 21, 1987 and lived happily with him for 35 years in Natchitoches. She worked in several businesses, with her last 19 years spent at the Natchitoches Tax Commission, from which she retired in 2014. In earlier years, she was very active in her church, singing in a trio with her sisters Shanda and Viviane, something that lasted many years, and she was even a member of a bowling league. After retirement, Cynthia spent time traveling with Tracy and enjoying being with her great-grandchildren. In her heart, Cynthia was, first and foremost, a wife, mother, and grandparent, positions that she heartily embraced and loved. Visitation will be held at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 5-9 PM. Funeral will be held at New Life Evangelism Center on Friday, February 17, 2023 with visitation at 1:00 PM followed by the service at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at the Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Cole Lucky, Kerry Lucky, Terry Florane, Vince Brown, Coleman Welch, and Keelan Moss.
