Funeral services for Elizabeth Dean Vercher Trichel will be held at 10 am on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Rev. Derek Ducote officiating. Interment will follow at Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 9 am until service time on Friday morning at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Elizabeth, 81 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, LA, passed away Sunday, Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Natchitoches, LA. She was born on March 4, 1940 in Natchitoches, LA to Joseph Leon Vercher, Sr., and Myrtle Loy Arledge Vercher. She enjoyed spending time with family, attending church functions, playing bingo, and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph Leon Vercher, Jr.; John H. Vercher; sister, Elmena Howell, and niece, Susan Hennigan. She is survived by her son, Charlie Trichel, 2 grandchildren; nephew, Keith Vercher and his wife Kristi; nieces, Rebecca Prestenbach and her husband Robert, and Frances Ezernack and her husband Keven; Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Keith Vercher, Nathan Vercher, Tommy Vercher, and Keven Ezernack.
