Elizabeth Ann Self

Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Self, was born on August 8, 1952, in Houston, Texas. She passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024, at her residence in Provencal, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.  She was affectionately known as MeMaw to family and friends.

She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Travis Self. Together, they created a home filled with love and laughter.  She is survived by her husband and five children: Elizabeth Tate, Sissy Self, Tina Snoddy, Thomas Self, and Shelby Simmons. As a MeMaw, Elizabeth found immeasurable joy in her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a loving and devoted MeMaw to her 10 cherished grandchildren and 17 wonderful great-grandchildren. Elizabeth’s pride in her family was evident, as her greatest accomplishments were measured not by material success but by the bonds she nurtured and the love she freely shared. Her legacy of love will continue to thrive in the lives she touched. MeMaw will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her. 

Her wishes were to be cremated with a burial to follow at a later date.
