A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Francis Deloney will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at The Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Natchitoches with Rev. Blake Deshautelle serving as celebrant. Interment will follow at Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Friday the 29th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6 pm in the funeral home chapel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Deloney; a brother, Douglas Deloney; and his parents, Jessie and Myrtle Deloney. He is survived by his beloved fur baby, Buttons; his children, Dewayne Deloney and wife Tonya, Mark Deloney and wife Kathy, and Kristi Martin and husband Edward; sister, Theresa Howard and husband Darrell, sister-in-law, Bobbie Deloney, and sister-in-law, Hilda Durr; grandchildren, Brandi Harrington and husband Drake, Hunter Martin and wife Stephanie, Tiffany Fuller and husband TJ, Whitney Radcliff and husband Cody, Hailey Colvin and husband Jason, Hillary Severin and husband Nigel, Holly Guillory and husband Blake, Hannah Guidry and husband Peyton; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Hendrix, and Hayes Harrington, Braylee, Michael and Lillie Martin, Sydney, Maddox, and Maci Fuller, Finley and Falyn Radcliff, Noah, Kylie, and Knox Severin, Avery, Audry, Addison, and Dezzie Colvin, Ames and Asher Guillory, Rowan, and Beckham Guidry, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Francis was a graduate of St. Mary's Catholic School. He retired from the City of Natchitoches with over 50 years of service in the Utility Department. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf, especially with his sons. Francis possessed a natural talent at golf and was considered one of the best golfers in Natchitoches. He will be dearly missed but always remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Mary’s Catholic School, or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
