Georgia Ann Pearson Campbell

A service to honor the life of Georgia Ann Pearson Campbell will be held at the Harmony Baptist Church in Provencal on Sunday, December 31, 2023. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Jimmy McDonald and Rev. Randy Oliff will officiate.

Georgia, 93 years of age, was born to George W. and Myrtle Berry Pearson in Gibsland, LA. Her family included 4 boys and 4 girls. Ann, as she was known by, married Ray Campbell and they moved to Provencal, where together they founded Campbell Monument Company in 1965. She was a 40 year member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents, George and Myrtle Pearson, brothers Ira, Bill, Joe, and Ralph Pearson. Her husband, Riley Ray Campbell and a grandson, Justin Aaron Campbell.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Effie Cox, Gloria Wiley, and Sybil Gonzales , daughter Patricia Campbell Townsend, son William “Dody” Campbell (wife Sue), grandchildren, Kellie Thompson, Bonnie Weaver (husband, Scott) and Jason R. Campbell (wife, Joy),  great-grandchildren, Kaylin Thompson, Gillian Weaver, Halle Campbell, Aaron Campbell and Lila Campbell.
