Gracie Moore Foshee

A service to celebrate the life of Gracie Moore Foshee will be at 10 am Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Rev. Marc Noel officiating.  Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Vowells Mill, LA.  The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.  Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7 pm on 12th in the funeral home chapel.  Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Michael Jordan, Steve Jordan, Andrew Almaguer, Brad Armstrong, Ben Dominguez, and Mitchell Blanchard.  Honorary pallbearers will be Cole Smith, Anthony Moore, Clayton Jordan, Alex Jordan, and Trevor Carter. Gracie, 62 years of age, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019, with her family by her side.  She was born on May 20, 1957, to Florence Irvin Moore and Albert Moore, Sr. in Shreveport, LA.  She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Moore, Sr. and her grandson, Ethan Hinds. Gracie was a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Definitely larger than life and brought excitement and energy to everything she was a part of, truly a perfect way to describe Gracie Lee.  She was always ready to help, whatever the need and never without a plan.  Whether it was how to mow a lawn or how to host a Thanksgiving celebration for 60 people, she always had the answer. Gracie was a take-charge person who had the personality and energy to make it a success. Full of laughter and full of fun, no gathering was complete until she made her entrance. Very much loved and will be dearly missed, “Who Dat”. She is survived by her mother, Florence Moore; husband, Rickey Foshee; children, Robert Hinds and wife Wendy of Castor, Jason Hinds and wife Brandy of Florien, and Grady Foshee and wife Lori of Vowells Mill; siblings, Geneva Jordan and husband Terry Dale of Robeline, Evelyn Dominguez and husband Dan of Universal City, TX, Genevieve Almaguer of Natchitoches,  Sandra Arthur and husband Keith of Florien, Albert Moore and wife Carlet of Natchitoches, Charlie Moore and wife Paige of Robeline and Cynthia Moore of Robeline.  She was blessed with 10 grandchildren, Christian Warren and wife Kolleen, Preston Foshee, Tanner Colbert, Matthew Hinds, Jacob Hinds, Ethan Colbert, Kaydence Hinds, Avery Foshee, Lucy Hinds, and Addisyn Hinds; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
