Harold Gene Lilley

Harold Gene Lilley was born in Marthaville, La. on March 27, 1937. He was a long time resident of Keithville, Louisiana before returning to his beloved hometown of Marthaville, La.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. After a difficult battle with his health, he left this earth on the morning of Saturday, May 19, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Loretta Ann Gorbecki Lilley, whom he met in San Diego while he was serving in the United States Navy; Son, Wayde Lilley and wife Janet; Daughter, Terri Durr and husband Jerry; Grandchildren; Brandon Durr and wife Dana, Mary Ann Lilley, Melissa Lilley, J.W. Lilley and wife Yenta, Josh Durr and wife Maggie, Great Grandchildren; Tinley, Talan, and Taten Durr, Jackson and Justin Durr, Amelia, Adeline, and Jed Lilley, and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Ruth Lilley, brothers; Waple, Roland, and Nollon Lilley. He was loved and will be missed by all. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Harold Gene Lilley will be at 10 am on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Spanish Lake, LA.  Burial will follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 5:30 pm at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.  Pall Bearers will include; Brandon Durr, Talan Durr, Josh Durr, J.W. Lilley,  Jeremy Fullerton, Kevin Trichel and Wesley Powell.
