Harry Coutee

A Memorial service and Rosary for Harry Coutee will take place on Friday, June 15, 2018, at Blanchard-St Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, Louisiana. The family will begin receiving visitors at 5:30 pm. Service and Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue until 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 10:00 am at St Augustine Catholic Church in Isle Brevelle, LA with Rev. Charlie Ray serving as celebrant. Interment with military honors will follow at the St. Augustine Catholic Church Cemetery. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Caroline (Carrie) Coutee of Marshall Tx, his son Harry Coutee Jr. (wife Wanda Coutee) of North Hollywood Ca, daughters Mary Coutee of Marshall Tx, Sharon Dunn (husband Ray Dunn) of Marshall Tx, Michelle Adams (husband Timothy Adams) of Robeline, La, his grandchildren, Kenda Dean, Harrison Coutee, Evann Coutee, Steven Dunn, Michelle Dunn and great grandchildren, Khloe Soto and Christian Boss along with a host of nieces, nephews, and Godchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Colin Coutee Mary Margaret Gallien Coutee, Brothers, Ernest Coutee, Ellis Coutee, John Coutee, Colin Coutee and his sisters, Gertrude Coutee, Augustine (Gussie Mae Cohen, Mary Lee Coutee. Harry was a loving husband and father. He retired from the Navy after 21 years of service in 1967. Harry was a self-taught musician and continued to entertain many people up until his illness. Harry wrote his own music and was an author as well. He possessed too many talents to list here, but those who knew him or met him were always astonished at his many talents. Harry earned his 4th degree during his 50 years as a member of the Knights Of Columbus. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
