Helen Meyers Vercher

A service to honor the life of Mrs. Helen Meyers Vercher will be held at 1 pm on Monday, June, 1, 2020, at Cloutierville Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Cloutierville Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 9 pm on Sunday, May 31st at Cloutierville Baptist Church located at 14858 Hwy 1. Cloutierville, LA 71416. Helen, 73 years of age, passed away on May 27, 2020 in Minden, LA. She was born on November 19, 1946, to Jimmy and Louise Meyers. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward L. Vercher, and a son, Jimmy Randall Keith. Helen was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a feisty and fiery redhead that didn’t mind letting you know her opinion, but only because she wanted the best for everyone. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need even if it meant she went without. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Ricky Keith of Bossier City, LA, Dewayne Keith of Delta, CO, Michael Keith of Shreveport, LA, Timothy Keith of Bossier City, LA, and Angel Keith of Haughton, LA. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Haley McClain, Holley McClain, Bubba McClain, Summer Keith, Jacob Keith, Britany Keith, and B.J. Byrd as well as 2 great grandchildren, Ava and Evelyn. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Bubba McClain, Rylan Plunkett, Michael Sanders, William Sanders and Hunter Perot.
