Henry C. Latham, Sr.

On June 7, 2021, Mr. Henry “Hank” C. Latham, Sr. was reunited in heaven with his wife, Lettye Basco Latham. He was born on January 25, 1939 to Noah W. Latham, Jr. and Ida Wallace Latham in Montgomery, AL. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1958 until 1969 and was very proud of his patriotic duty. He worked for many years in the oil and gas industry that required extensive travel and the task of raising his family in many different areas around the world. He was a loving and compassionate man that would help anyone in need. He had a special place in his heart for the many pets he had over the course of his life. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his daughter, Anna Mae M. Latham; step children, Donald Johnson and Evelyn Carter; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Letty Latham; his parents, Noah and Ida Latham; a son, Henry Latham, Jr. and step sons, Phillip and Joseph Johnson. A graveside service at Gorum Cemetery will be held at a later date.
