Hilda Sandel Ammons

Hilda Sandel Ammons, 82, went to be with her blessed Lord and Savior on January 23, 2025. She was born on May 20, 1942 to Rollie Grover Sandel and Pearlie Ellzey Sandel in Forien, LA

Preceding her in death were her husband, William Ammons, and grandson, Patrick Strickland.

She is survived by her children, Sue Strickland; Wayne Ammons and wife Dorinda; and Glen Ammons and wife Vicki; grandchildren, Gary Ammons and wife Monique; Cody Ammons and wife Meagan; Kristen Spurgeon and husband Chris; and Rebecca Trichel; along with a host of great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Matthew Pagels officiating.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Ammons, Chris Barnhill, Talan Ammons, Kainen Ammons, Chris Spurgeon, Cody Ammons, and Gary Ammons.
