Hilda Jane Hancock, age 84, passed away early Monday Morning, June 29, in Edmond, OK. She was born October 16, 1936, in Phoebe, Mississippi, a daughter of the late John Hollis and Effie Bell Hudson. Hilda was preceded in death by two husbands, Fred Allen Arnold and James Hancock, her sister Doyce Anderson, and her brothers, Paul Hudson, John Hudson, Steel Hudson and Don Hudson. She spent the last 30 years of her life side by side with her beloved sister and now she is beside her again never to be separated. Hilda is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Ralph Edward Arnold (Dottie) of Yuma, AZ, James Gary Arnold (Sandra) of Senatobia, Mississippi; one daughter, Judy Diane Forrest of Stanton, Texas; Grandchildren, Michael Shane Arnold, Ronald Jeffery Arnold, Michelle Glynanna Arnold, Alexandra Jane Arnold and Nicholas Edward Arnold, Chasity Hope Youngman, James Ryan Arnold, Jammie Diane Holland, Johnna Faye Forrest, and ten great grandchildren. She also leaves her dearly loved niece, Ramona Patton and her husband Robert Patton. There are many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Friday, July 3, 2020, at Family Worship Center, Campti, LA with Rev. Silas DuFrene and Sister Linda Chance officiating. Burial will follow in the Black Lake Full Gospel Cemetery. Hilda’s family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
