Jack deLane Allen, Jr.

A graveside memorial service to honor the life of Jack deLane “Lanie” Allen, Jr. will be held at 9 am on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Marthaville Cemetery with Jack Mills, Jr. officiating.

Lanie, age 51 and a resident of Hagewood, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023.  He was born on February 8, 1972 to Jackie and Karen Allen in Natchitoches, LA.  Lanie enjoyed collecting guns and Star Wars memorabilia.  He also enjoyed spending time hunting and being a part of the Lazy 8 Hunting Club.  He loved his two nieces, Taylor and Chloe, very much.  Lanie will always be remembered as a friend who never judged a person.

He is survived by his parents, Jackie and Karen Allen; brother and sister-in-law, Rodney and Sharon; and nieces Taylor and Chloe; aunts and uncles, Dewayne Horn, Brenda Horn, Jayson Barnhill, Cathy Barnhill, Richard Allen and Julie Allen; as well as numerous cousins and friends.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Jayson Barnhill, Jake Barnhill, Billy Palmer, Richard Allen, DeWayne Horn, and Josh LeBouef.
