Jim Toney

A service to honor the life of Mr. Jim Toney will be held at 2 pm on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with interment to follow at Weaver Cemetery in Flora, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Thursday, December 29th at Blanchard-St Denis Funeral Home. James Edward Toney, 71 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away on December 22, 2022. He was born on January 8, 1951, to W.F. Toney and Bonnie Jean Aldridge Toney in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jim was a talented musician who loved to entertain. He would take time to minister through music at local nursing homes. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Joy Pullig Toney; a brother, Donald Toney (Connie); as well as a large music family and many friends.
