John Fernandez, Jr.

John Fernandez, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on November 15, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents, M.J. Fernandez and John Fernandez, Sr., his brother Jack Fernandez and his wife, Alma Fernandez. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Barbara Fontenot (Scotty) and John Fernandez, III, his grandson, Jayden Fernandez, and his girlfriend, Kandie Sardo.

John was one of the hardest working people you would ever meet. He rarely missed a day of work. He was a dedicated family man, a loyal friend, a man of his word and a true southern gentleman. He enjoyed going on adventures to auctions and any Goodwill or thrift store within driving distance. He also enjoyed attending book sales with his daughter and watching movies with his son and grandson. He was a truly genuine person who spent a lot of time on his computer when he was at home. He had become quite the salesman on Marketplace and had big dreams of customizing vehicles for resale. 

A memorial service will be held at the Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation the same day from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please join us as we celebrate his life and mourn his passing.
