It is with great sadness that the family of John “Johnny” Singer, Jr. announces his passing after a courageous battle with an illness, on Friday, May 18, 2018, at the age of 60 years old. Johnny will be lovingly remembered by his son, John Singer, III and daughter, Andrea Singer; a step son, Tommy Rozzell and step-daughter, Tessa Rozzell; his grandchildren, Coy Rozzell, U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer, Aniana Singer, John Singer, IV, Juliana Singer and Jacob Severance; sisters, Linda Hill and husband Robert, Rhonda Flores and husband Don, Debra Roberts, step-brother, Clayton Flores and wife Tonya; nieces and nephews, Kim Murphy and husband Dennis, Sherry Stephens and husband John, Mike Davis, Chris Davis and wife Stephanie, Laura Rogers and husband Jim, Julie Flores, D. H. Flores and wife Christy, Gregory Carrizal, Jr., great nieces and nephews, Miranda, Josh, Jordan, Sammy, Landon, Katie, Bradley, Natalie, Scarlett, Sarah, Shane, Anthony, Amber, Gabriel, Erica, Don III, and a host of great-great nieces and great-great nephews, as well as many friends. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, John Singer, Sr. and his mom and dad, Jacob and Loyce Flores. Johnny was a naturally talented musician and could play any instrument given only a few minutes to practice. He especially excelled with the piano and drums. Johnny never met a stranger and his door was always open for anyone who was in need. He loved all of his family and friends dearly, and would put their needs ahead of his own. Johnny’s family and friends will miss him visiting with them to the late night hour, long phone calls and conversations, his random rhetoric that always made you stop and think, his natural ability for nicknames because he could never correctly say their name, but most of all his hugs he would give that made everyone feel how much he loved them. In lieu of flowers, a love offering is being accepted to help with expenses due to his illness.
