Joshua Lynn Desadier

A service to honor the life of Joshua Lynn Desadier will be at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Christian Harmony Baptist Church in the Trichel Community, LA.  Burial will follow at St. Maurice Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends after 5 pm on Tuesday the 30th at Christian Harmony Baptist Church located at 2019 LA HWY 1226, Trichel Community, LA 71457. Joshua, 33 years of age and a resident of Black Lake, LA, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018.  He was born on March 10, 1985, to Rita Dunn and Rickey Desadier in Pineville, LA.  Joshua was a hard worker and a carpenter by trade.  He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.  He had a kind, gentle, and easy going personality and always loved to “joke” with the people he was closest too.  He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his sister, Julie Desadier and his paternal grandfather, O.C. Desadier. He is survived by his parents, Rita Dunn and Rickey Desadier; paternal grandmother, Lorene Desadier; maternal grandparents, Robert and Perilee Vercher; siblings, Justin and Caitlyn Desadier; spouse, Rebecca Yvonne Desadier and her daughter, Piper; close friend, Kim Wall; as well as numerous friends. Floral contributions or donations to help offset expenses will be greatly appreciated by the family.Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Dallas Desadier, Ron Sanders, Jr., Shane Kelley, Richard Desadier, Jr., Jerry Patridge, and Brandon Malone.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Dempsey and Payton Wall.
