Kenneth Gerald Kaufman, Sr

Kenneth Gerald Kaufman, Sr., was born in Shreveport, Louisiana.  He was a graduate of Fair Park High School, Class of 1945.  From there he attended college at both LSU and Centenary.  He served his country in the Marine Corps followed by 47 years of employment at Ogilvie Hardware Company in Shreveport as a Wholesale Hardware Salesman.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Natchitoches since 1955 and served in many capacities. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Norma Kaufman, his parents, A.T. Kaufman, Sr. and Flois Kaufman, and brother, A.T. Kaufman, Jr. He is survived by his sons Kenneth Kaufman, Jr. (Stephanie) and Edward Kaufman (Kay) all of Natchitoches and Bro. Richard Kaufman (Sue) of Martin. Grandsons, Eric Kaufman (Melissa) and Regan Kaufman (Fiancé Kaylee) of Natchitoches and Granddaughters, Anna Dupre` (Robert) of Natchitoches, Cari Galloway (Fiancé Curtis) of Stonewall and Lindsey Wynne (Justin) of Keithville. Great-Grandchildren, Kara Kaufman, Joseph Jones, Seth Galloway, Macy, Hannah, Julianne, and Justine Tyler Wynne, Khloe and Kohen Kaufman and Erin and Lucy Dupre`. Great-Great-Granddaughter Bryleigh Wixon, Niece, Roxanne Green and Nephew, Keith Kaufman. A funeral service celebrating the life of Kenneth Gerald Kaufman, Sr., age 90, will be held Friday, January 4, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.  Bro. Richard Kaufman and Rev. Doug deGraffenried will officiate and burial will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches. Pallbearers are Eric Kaufman, Regan Kaufman, Robert Dupre’, Justin Wynne, Curtis Ratliff, and Ross Desadier.
