Lanette Brossett Nichols

A Catholic Vigil service for Lanette Brossett Nichols will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 12, 2025 in Holy Cross Church in Natchitoches, LA. Burial will be in Emmanual Cemetery in Chopin, LA. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home from 5 PM until 8 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM. Lanette Nichols, 58, of Cloutierville, LA, died Friday, March 7, 2025.

Vibrant and endlessly loving, anyone with the pleasure of her company knew Lanette for her compassion, her wit, and her incredible capacity for fun. She loved dancing, singing, and talking all night with friends old and new alike. No project too big, nor task too difficult, Lanette was a force with a vision, and her direction put those around her at ease. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Gallien Brossett and Lawrence Brossett. She is survived by her husband, Steven Nichols; one daughter, Hannah Nichols and husband Andrew Bradberry; two sons, Dustin and Tyler Nichols; and three siblings, Dwayne Brossett and wife Ginny, Sonia Morgan and husband Scott, and James Brossett and wife Shari.
