Lee Allen served in the Army/National Guard (1964 - 1973) as platoon sergeant. Soon thereafter, he became a carpenter. With this profession, he was a perfectionist. When it came to anything he put together, it had to be “just so”. He also had a love for antiques and relics. In his spare time, he enjoyed searching for Indian artifacts and adding things to his collection.

Lee Allen married his wife Christine (Bynog) Ward on July 31, 1968. They recently celebrated their 56 years of marriage. He was an honest and devoted family man. Devoted not only to his wife, but his family as well. No matter how busy things got, he always made time for the people he cared about, and showed us that family always comes first, no matter what. Everyone who knew him knew how proud he was of the people he loved. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
