Linda Apponey Sandefur

Funeral services for Linda Apponey Sandefur will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 am at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. John David Astling officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Gary Cole, Bruce Dyjack, and Eli Dyjack. Honorary pallbearer will be Bob Miller. Linda was born on June 16, 1950 to Pete James Apponey and Thelma Murray Apponey in New Orleans, LA. She passed away on July 4, 2022 in Coushatta, LA. Linda is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Eddie Ray Sullivan; her second husband, Craig Sandefur; her son, Chad Edward Sullivan; one brother, Peter James Apponey; and a sister, Theresa Apponey. She is survived by her daughter, April Sullivan Dannettelle; her brother, Robert Apponey and his wife Karen; nieces, Stephanie Apponey Dyjack and Lesha Apponey Genola; and her nephew, Jared Apponey. Linda loved her kids, loved her nursing career, and especially loved caring for the elderly as a sitter. She will be missed.
