Known for her love of reading and passion for travel, Manette was actively involved in various community organizations. She was a cherished member of the Provencal Baptist Church, Eastern Star, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Manette's warm and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by her surviving family members: her son Robert E. Brister and his wife Jan, her sister Pat Goddard and husband Eugene, her brother Kenneth Cloud and wife Patricia, her son-in-law Kenneth Penrod, her grandchild Robert Ganz and significant other Angel Eaves, and grandchild Jamie Brister.
Manette is now reunited with her loving husband Travis E. Brister and daughter Dawna Sue Penrod in eternal peace.
Visitation services will be held on April 4th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. A Graveside Service will follow on April 5th at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches at 11:00 AM.
In honoring Manette's memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived and cherish the moments shared with this remarkable woman who brought joy to all those around her.
