Maniel Bacon

Funeral services for Mr. Maniel Bacon will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday, March 15th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Maniel served in the U.S. Army and was very proud of his patriotic duty. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie Turner Bacon, his 2nd wife, Opal Rhymes Bacon; a daughter, Linda Calvert; step daughter, Patsy Desadier; and a step son, Terry Blake. He is survived by his children, Dianne Evans and husband Gil, Karen Roberts and husband Ron and Randy Bacon; grandchildren, Shannon Collum, Austin Calvert, Gabrielle Calvert, and Zachary Roberts; 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Daniel Bacon and wife June; son-in-law, Joe Calvert; his step children whom he loved like his own, Penny Grillette and husband James and Tommy Blake and wife DeLisa; 12 step grandchildren, Adam Grillette, Kyle Grillette, Amanda Hernandez, Pamela Berly, Thomas Blake, Corey Asken, William Admire, Michael Admire, Emory Admire, Patricia Richardson, Leah Admire, and Christopher Blake; 30 step great grandchildren; and a step son-in-law, Dallas Desadier.
