Margaret Theresa McCary, 79, was called home on May 23, 2018 after years of declining health. She was known by many names, Momo, Sis, Aunt T. Her devotion to her family and firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. Theresa was born to Donald and Agnes Troquille Bynog, in Cloutierville, LA on June 2, 1938. She was immersed in the Christian community that would be her lifelong support from an early age. A large and loving family blessed her all her life. She married Bobby Ray McCary of Robeline, LA on March 24, 1962 in Natchitoches, LA. Theresa raised three children with patience, discipline and humility. She taught them to read, write and love God. From the very beginning, she dedicated her children to God and encouraged them to explore the security found in trusting the Lord. Theresa was a mother to all at heart. She was kind, caring and soft-spoken, always having time to be a sounding board and offer words of wisdom. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones, but they celebrate the fact that she is at peace with Jesus and reunited with her husband and several family members. Theresa is survived by her daughters; Debbie and husband Alan Leeps of Bossier City, LA; Lisa McCary of Bossier City, LA; Becky and husband Paxton Willis of Denton, TX; her granddaughters that brought her great joy; Meagan and Lauren Willis of Bossier City, LA; her brother, Mark and wife Wanda Bynog of Natchitoches, LA; sister-in-law Sue Bynog of Leander, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Bobby; brother, George Bynog and her parents. A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Margaret Theresa McCary will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 27th, in the Chapel at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral home in Natchitoches, LA. A visitation will be held from 11:30 am until time of service on Sunday. The family gratefully declines flowers. Donations to St. Jude Catholic Church in Benton, LA or American Heart Association are welcome. Prayers are appreciated.
