Marjorie Ann Norsworthy Harmon

Graveside service for Mrs. Marjorie Ann Norsworthy Harmon will be at 1 pm on Friday, July 27, 2018, at Bellwood Cemetery in Bellwood, LA.  The family will receive friends at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home from 10 am until 12:30 pm on July 27th. Marjorie, 85 years of age and a current resident of Lafayette, LA, passed away July 23, 2018.  She was born on December 17, 1932 to Bennie and Ella Moss Norsworthy in Natchitoches.  She earned a Masters degree from Northwestern State University and taught music for many years in public school system.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Virginia Norsworthy. She is survived by her son, Bret C. Harmon and wife Fonda Moore-Harmon; sister Nelwyn Wells and husband Barron; former husband, Clarence Harmon; nieces and nephews, Jill Wells, Martha Carson and Greg Wells.  She was blessed with 3 grandchildren, Robert Harmon, James Farrelly and wife Lynette, and Jeremy Moore; as well as a great granddaughter, Gabrielle Farrelly.
