Mary Louvenia Bynog Gandy

Funeral service for Mary Louvenia Bynog Gandy will be held at 12 noon on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Waters officiating.  Burial will follow at Bellwood Cemetery in Bellwood, LA.  The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Thursday, February 29th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Jason Waters, Chris Waters, Tyler Adams, Blake Adams, Jasper Bynog, and Kenny Turnley.  Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Kirkland and Emmitt Greene.

Mary, 85 years of age, passed away on February 25, 2024 at Natchitoches Community Care.  She was born on July 16, 1938 to Dennie and Izile Bynog in Gorum, LA.  Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be dearly missed by her family that greatly loved her.

She is survived by her son, Charles Richard Gandy; a grandson, Andrew Kirkland; a sister, Alfair Martin Waters; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her siblings Jesse Martin, Irvin Martin, Rev. Bennie Bynog, Joe Bynog, and William Bynog.

The family wished to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Natchitoches Community Care and Hospice of Natchitoches for the care and compassion they provided to Mary.
