Mary Dewana "Dee" Tigert

Mary Dewana “Dee” Tigert received her eternal reward on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the age of 73. Mother to Kimberly Tigert DeVillier (Mark) of Covington, La. She is preceded in death by her parents, JC Sims and Gladys McClory. She is sister to Mart Freeman (Carol), the late Doris Miller, Lynda Freeman (Jimmie), Dickie Sims (Lynne), and Johnathan Sims. Dee is survived by five grandchildren: Jenna DeVillier, Bryan DeVillier (Jacqueline), Devan DeVillier, and Hanna DeVillier. She was born in Robeline, La and, after a lifetime of travel, work and adventures, she returned to Natchitoches. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date
