A procession for Mazie Jane Beaudion will leave from Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. on May 12, 2020, for a graveside service at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cloutierville, LA. Prior to entering the nursing home, Mazie prepared her below obituary: Ms. Mazie Beaudion was born August 2, 1937 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Rosalee Coutee Beaudion and Joseph P. Beaudion. She was the youngest of 10 siblings and the last of her family. Ms. Beaudion attended St. Joseph’s and St. Mathew School. She was a life-long member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Her hobbies were fishing, Zydeco music and dancing. She loved the thrill of catching a fish and returning it back to the water. The tranquility and quietness of the water was very calming and peaceful. Her other passion was Zydeco music and dancing. She loved to go to dances and could dance all night. Ms. Beaudion liked to ride her bicycle and when she wasn’t, she was walking. She had a special way of smiling that made you happy just by seeing it. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph P. Beaudion, and all nine of her brothers and sisters: Rosalee Beaudion Monette (Clarence), Josephine Beaudion Antee (A.C.), Joseph Matthew Beaudion (Anease), Roberta Beaudion, Zelia Beaudion LaCour (Acie, Sr.), Pearline Beaudion Rachal (Mitchell), Sidney Beaudion Sr. (Roberta), and Joseph Charles Beaudion (Florence). She leaves a fourth generation of nieces and nephews along with cousins and friends. A special thanks to her nieces and nephews for being there.
