Melinda Gayle Quarles

A memorial service for Melinda Gayle Quarles, 36, will be on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 2:00pm at 231 Hargis Road, Natchitoches, LA 71457. Melinda was born November 14, 1981 in Natchitoches, Louisiana.  On May 26, 2018, after a four year battle with heart disease, God called Melinda  to her forever home to be free of pain and able to breathe easily, watching over her family and friends. Melinda’s greatest accomplishment and the loves of her life are her children, Malory Jordan and Tyler Singletary (Natchitoches).  She is also survived by her significant other, Joe Uribe (Natchitoches); her parents, Carmen and Tom Manry (Natchitoches); her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jason and Cassie Quarles (Minden), Shane and Sarah Quarles (Bossier City); nephew, Ayden Quarles (Minden); and nieces, Ryleigh and Addalynn Quarles (Bossier City) and Fancy Quarles (Minden); two half sisters, April Jones (Sykes) and Jennifer Slayter (Winnfield), three step brothers, Jeff Manry (Oregon), Dale Manry (Virginia), and Tommy Manry (Cloutierville), two step sisters, Tina Manry (Florida) and Tami Self (Baton Rouge). The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Dennis Britten and his staff (especially nurse Tara) in Natchitoches, and to Dr. Selim Krim and staff at Ochsners Hospital in New Orleans.
