Funeral services for Mitchell Lynn Durbin, 45, of Natchitoches, LA will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Freedom Life Church in Natchitoches. Burial will follow in Mill Creek cemetery in Saline, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at the church.
Mitchell was born on January 3, 1979 in Natchitoches, LA to his parents Terry Lynn Durbin and Shelia Joyce Durbin. He passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Mitchell loved to cook on the grill and watch them LSU tigers and ‘dem boys’ play. He loved spending time with his children and family. Mitchell would tell the stories and would light up every room he walked in and could make anyone laugh. He loved spending time in the woods, duck & deer Hunting and he was also known for being able to hit a softball a mile away. Mitchell also loved to spread the word of God. Lastly everyone who knew Mitchell knew that he was one of the best to ever sell cars.
He is preceded in death by, His paternal grandparents Doyle & Shirley Durbin, and maternal grandparents, Bill & Wanda Hay. By his Uncle Raymond Durbin.
Survived by His father Terry Durbin, by his Mother Shelia Durbin of Natchitoches, By his Sister Terri Ann Callia & Husband Hunter of Natchitoches, By his children Trevor Durbin, Preslie Durbin, and Mollie Durbin of Natchitoches and their mother Christina Feazell & Husband Douglas Feazell of Natchitoches, By his nephews Trinton & Hayden Callia of Natchitoches. By his special Aunt Janis Durbin (Sass) of Natchitoches, By Uncle Micheal & Aunt Connie Durbin of Winnfield. By his Aunt Karren & Uncle Luis Deleon of Texas. By his Aunt Rajohnna & Uncle Robert Stroud of Campti. By his cousin but sister-in-love Crystal Eldreth and Husband BJ, their children Payton, Sophia, and Buddy of Texas. Along with numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Kyle Woods, Rodney Baker, Jordan Bedgood, Logan Bedgood, Jeremy Williams, Payton Williams, Hunter Callia, Jason Cameron (Juice), Josh Walker, and Barry Weaver.
