Nancy Hataway Masters, passed away on August 10, 2024, at the age of 81. She was born on April 14, 1943, to Stanley W. Hataway and Bertha Ella Mae Hataway. Nancy was predeceased by her loving husband, Glynn Masters, and her first husband, Jerry Lynn Carney, who was the father of her children.
Nancy was a woman of grace who touched the lives of many with her warm and cheery personality. She was known for her kind spirit and her ability to make friends wherever she went. Nancy's career as the secretary to the plant manager at Con-Agra was marked by dedication and professionalism, earning her the respect and admiration of her colleagues.
As a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Natchitoches, Nancy found solace and community in her faith. She was actively involved in church activities and considered her church family an extension of her own.
In honoring her wishes of cremation, a memorial service to celebrate Nancy's life will be held at 11 am on Saturday August 24, 2024, at Trinity Baptist Church, located at 527 Howard St, Natchitoches, LA 71457, United States.
Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories in the hearts of her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Tammy Vallet and special friend Kevin Duraso, son Steven Lynn Carney and his wife Shawna, daughter Cynthia Michelle Haeuber and husband James, grandchildren USN CPO Michael Vallet, Jr. and special friend, Caitlyn, Alicia Marie Smith and husband Michael, James Stanley Carney and wife Jessica, McKenzie Willman and husband Cody, Miranda Haeuber-Bolton and husband Brock, Madelyn Haeuber and fiance' Parker Grob, great-grandchildren Kaliegh Annette Carney, Waylon Reed Carney, Briggs Walker Carney, Rhett Beauregard Carney, Milo Foster Willman, Cam Fielder Willman, and a new great-grandchild from Miranda and Brock on the way. In addition to her immediate family, Nancy is survived by her sister Patricia Horton, niece Denise Rossman, and niece Kathy Mays as well as a host of beloved, extended family from her first husband. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Nancy Masters will be remembered for her unwavering love, infectious laughter, and the light she brought into the lives of those around her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
