Pamela Ann “Pam” Roque was born February 9, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois to her parents Oliver and Shirley Roque. She lived in Chicago most of her life until the family moved to Natchitoches, Louisiana 20 years ago. She passed away on March 7, 2022 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Oliver Roque, Sr. and Eva Roque; maternal grandparents Alvin Metoyer and Alvinita Metoyer; and baby brother Gerard Roque. She is survived by her parents: Oliver, Jr. and Shirley; Brothers: Gerald (Jessica) and Leslie (Nicole); Nephews: Omar, Julius, Tristian, and Leslie Jr.; Nieces: Megan, Imari “Nana”, and Nayah, great-nieces and nephews and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Pam loved her family and is loved by all. She was our special Angel. She loved to dance. She loved her dog Roxy. If you did not speak to her when you walked in the house, she let you know. She always had a deck of cards in her purse to play Pitty Pat or Go Fish. Her favorite celebrities were Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley. A Mass of Christian Burial for Pamela Ann Roque will be held at 10 AM Monday, March 14, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Christian Ogbonna serving as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 AM until time of the service with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 9:30 AM. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Tristian Washington; Leslie Roque, Jr; Dennis Armstrong, Jr.; Nicholas Beaudion; Sye Conday; and Joseph Metoyer.
