Patricia Burford Churchman

A graveside service for Mrs. Patricia Burford Churchman will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021 at the Gloster Trinity Cemetery in Gloster, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Mrs. Churchman was born on April 25, 1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Charles E. Burford and Laverne Lemley Burford of Gloster, Louisiana. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a lifelong teacher. She entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on July 21, 2021 at her residence in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Preceding her in death are her parents, Charles and Laverne Burford; her sister, Mary Carol McLamb, and brother-in-law, James McLamb. Mrs. Churchman is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles Churchman; two sons, Charles “Ryder” Churchman and wife Hope, Patrick Churchman and wife Amelia; six grandchildren, Brittainey, Cameron, Haden, Luke, Gabriel, and Mary Hannah; one great-grandchild, Declan; one sister, Minette Green and husband, Jessi; and two brothers, Jack Burford and wife, Terri, and Charles “Chuck” Burford; and many nieces and nephews. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Haden Churchman, Cameron Churchman, Luke Churchman, Gabriel Churchman, Garrett Burford, and Peyton Burford. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Mary Long and the staff of Hand In Hand Hospice; Nurse Megan Berry, Nurse DeVaughn Lites, and Nurse Tiffany Sepulvado for their compassionate care.
